Since Slippers For Mom was started in 2013 we've donated 5,894 pairs of slippers!
When are the slippers delivered?
Slippers are delivered thru the month of December. We accept donations all year, however our main collection season is November thru December.
What types of slippers do you accept?
We accept new slippers only. The shelters prefer the hard soled slippers for Women and Men. The shelters do not accept used slippers. We need all sizes for women, men, boys, girls, toddler and infants. Childrens slippers can be soft soled. We need children size 13/1, 2/3 and 4/5 sized slippers, these are for children ages 5 and older.
There are great deals on slippers during the holiday shopping season, especially leading up to Black Friday. You can easily find pairs of slippers for $10 - $20. Kohl's, Target, Costco and Meijer all have great deals. Women sizes Medium and Large are the most common sizes requested by the shelters.
Do you prefer monetary donations or slippers?
We accept both! However we prefer monetary donations so we can purchase slippers and ship them directly to the shelters. 100% of donations are used to purchase new slippers for the shelters.
